In house training within Springfield Healthcare Group was born out of disillusion with the fragmented, ad hoc, availability of suitable training which could meet the needs of our staff and service users.
It was clear that if we had identified training needs within individuals and wanted to facilitate the growth of the company in the envisaged direction then we needed to create our own appropriate and accessible learning environment in which:
As we have developed our expertise in training we are now able to share these skills and offer this training high quality training to other care providers.
We are a City and Guilds NVQ Approved Centre and also a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Training Centre and can offer nationally recognised qualifications in First Aid, Moving and Handling, Food Hygiene and Health and Safety.
Our training is delivered by experienced qualified trainers who have had practical care experience and our sessions are fun and interactive. A variety of training methods are used including group activities, discussion, participative learning and video material.
In today’s competitive care sector, it necessary for staff to have the knowledge and skills to deliver high quality care. The specialist training we offer is designed to ensure that staff have the information, training and skills to provide care to people with specific medical conditions and needs and competent to do their jobs. Where possible the training is linked to the national framework and can be used as evidence within NVQ portfolios. A certificate of attendance is issued to all participants which can be added to their individual development plan.
